VA: Woman 'No Bill' for Pulaski Woman who Shot Man in Home

A grand jury Monday declined to indict a Pulaski woman for fatally shooting 29-year-old Alfred E. Copeland II at his Newbern Road residence in December.

Pulaski County Commonwealth’s Attorney Mike Fleenor said the grand jury was presented with a homicide indictment for Cynthia Dawn Johnson, 36, but “after due consideration,” they did not return a true bill “based on their conclusion that Johnson had acted in self-defense.”
