Canada: Man Shoots Aggressive Car Thief; is Charged with Murder

In a statement, police said the “adult male” was “attempting to steal a truck in the driveway.” They say a resident of the home confronted the bandit with a gun.

“The resident ... while armed with a firearm, confronted the man,” police said. “During the confrontation, the man attempting to steal the truck died as a result of gunshot injuries.”
