About 3:30 a.m. Saturday, a homeowner heard a knock on the front door of
her house in the 6700 block of Labonte Drive, Pace said. The homeowner
looked out the window and did not recognize the stranger at the door.
When she went to tell her husband about it, the couple heard the man
come in through the back door. The husband shot the intruder in the
torso.
