Followup MI: No Charges for Jimie Fredericks in Fatal Shooting of Robert Morgan

After Macy confronted Morgan, he threatened her and eventually followed her to her residence. Macy woke Jamie up, and he tried to diffuse the situation. Morgan started making threats toward him and eventually made an action as if he were trying to attack Jamies

At that point, Jamie Fredericks, a veteran and valid CPL holder, fired a single gunshot from his .40 caliber handgun. He fatally shot Morgan through the stomach, and the same gunshot punctured the wrist of Morgan’s nephew Jake Vanenk.

Becker said the investigation led them to believe the gun was shot inside the home after Morgan’s attack propelled them inside the home.
