MI: Man Shot by Armed Homeowner During Apparant Crime Spree

SEBEWA TWP. — A Lansing man who was shot and killed during a reported attempted home burglary in Ionia County on Tuesday night had previously stolen a vehicle and trailer from a residence about two miles away, police said.

Justin Eddy, 40, drove to the shooting scene in the stolen vehicle before he was shot by the homeowner, the Ionia County Sheriff's Office said in an updated news release.
