NC: Domestic Defense, Son Shoots Father to Protect Mother
GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) - A 20-year-old Marine shot his father after protecting his mother during a domestic violence incident reported in Greenville on Christmas Eve, deputies said.
The Pitt County Sheriff's Office responded to a residence located on Old River Road in Greenville in reference to a shooting reported on Christmas Eve around 6:00 p.m.
