The officers got word from Bellaire police that the
homeowner was in the hospital with a gunshot wound to the rear, Crowson
said.
The
homeowner told police that he grabbed his gun after several men busted
into his home, sparking a shootout. It’s unknown whether any of the
suspects were hit.
