Through information received and evidence gathered at the scene, Gang
Detectives were able to determine that Allen was in the SUV when it
entered the Walmart parking lot. Allen and Carranza, exited the SUV
armed with handguns and approached a man sitting in his car. Allen and
Carranza attempted to carjack the victim and a physical altercation
ensued. During the altercation, the victim pulled out his own handgun
and shot Allen multiple times. Carranza ran back to the SUV and drove
away with the others involved. The SUV was reported stolen on Feb. 20,
2019.
