NV: Home Invader Attacks Homeowner, Invader is Shot, Killed

GARDNERVILLE, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — A Gardnerville man is dead after being shot during an attempted home invasion in Douglas County on Saturday night.

Deputies responded to the 1400 block of Bumblebee Dr. shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 21. When police arrived on scene, the found 36-year-old Josuha McCarthy dead from multiple gunshot wounds.
