Police responded to a disturbance in the parking lot of a West Market
Street store March 1 after a man reported a group of males approached
him, demanded his motorcycle and threatened him. The victim, who has a
permit to carry a gun, put his hand on the weapon, took out his
cellphone and told them he was calling the police and they fled. Police
located the males, and the victim identified them. An adult man and
three juveniles were charged with disorderly conduct. The juveniles were
released to their parents.
