Graves County Sheriff Jon Hayden says a 74-year-old resident on KY
Highway 1710 called 911 at around 3 a.m. to report a masked man with a
shotgun had forced his way into the home. The homeowner met the suspect
and the suspect reportedly fled in a vehicle.
At around 4:45 a.m. the resident called 911 reporting a man with a
shotgun had kicked in his door again, but this time he shot the intruder
with a shotgun. The intruder then fled on foot.
