MT: Neighbors Fail to Control Dogs, Two are Shot, Killed

On Sunday, the Brants say they looked out their window and saw two dogs inside their chicken coop, and that’s what led to the incident.

“I have 16 chickens, and when I opened the door to yell at (the dogs), my husband says, ‘This is enough,’ and he took his gun, and he shot one of the dogs,” Brant said.

“Whatever they did, the cows were totally content, the man’s chickens were over by his driveway, up his coop and his barn, and my dog was nowhere near the animals,” Fredenberg said.
