WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Wichita police say a QuikTrip security guard shot a 23-year-old woman who pointed what was later determined to be a pellet gun early Friday morning.
Officers responded at around 2 a.m. to a shooting at the QuikTrip in the 700 block of North Broadway. They arrived to find the woman with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Police spokesperson Trevor Macy said the armed security guard attempted to remove the woman from the business when she drew a weapon and pointed it at security guards several times.
