Detectives said other surveillance video shows McIntosh returning and throwing a cup of hot coffee in West’s face before charging at him multiple times and punching him.
Police said the altercation escalated when McIntosh knocked West to the ground and used a firearm magazine that had fallen from the guard’s vest to repeatedly strike him in the head. McIntosh also threatened to kill West, according to police.
The two continued struggling around a car, along with a second security guard. McIntosh broke away from the altercation, with West then firing three shots at him.
