OK: Car Burglar Starts Gunfight with Homeowner

SKIATOOK, Okla. —

Tulsa County deputies say an attempted car break-in turned into a shootout. -

Deputies said it started when someone tried breaking into the homeowner’s car. He heard noise outside and came outside. Deputies said that’s when the suspect pulled out his gun and pulled the trigger; the homeowner did, too.
