WA: .22 against Baseball Bat

The man reported  to the 911 center that he was accosted by his neighbor, and charged while the neighbor was carrying a baseball bat. The man told dispatchers that he shot the neighbor, a 53 year old man, numerous times with a 22 caliber handgun.

The suspect/gunshot victim was transported to Community Hospital where he is being treated for numerous gunshot wounds. Pimentel said at this time no one has been taken into custody, the shooting appears to be self defense, and the County Prosecutor’s Office has been advised.
