David Codrea: FOIA filed for School Gun Video Communications

Gun Rights Examiner mailed a Freedom of Information Act request Friday to North Oakland Community Charter School to determine the scope of permissions given to produce an anti-gun “public service announcement” video on school premises that may have been in violation of California law. The request, sent with a proof of delivery return receipt card, was addressed to Carolyn Gramstorff, who in her capacity as Executive Director had issued an announcement denying the school had any foreknowledge of the intended content of the PSA, and asserting it had never given PSA producer Rejina Sincic permission to bring “weapons of any kind (real or replicas) to school.”
