Cane Corsos are very large, very aggressive dogs. They were Roman war dogs.
An off-duty cop walking his Pekingese about 7 p.m. Saturday opened fire on an unleashed Cane Corso that attacked his dog and then bit him when he tried to intervene, police said. Neighbors reported hearing between four and six shots.

Jul 25, 2014 - Craig Sytsma, 46, was running along a rural dirt road in Metamora Township on Wednesday evening when the dogs latched on and wouldn't let go, police said. The animals twice before have attacked pedestrians in the area since 2012, and the owner could be charged for allowing them to get out and kill someone.

Beautiful dog, but couldn't afford to feed that horse, plus it wouldn't fit in my apartment.
