AL: Firearms Freedom Conference

Gun-rights group BamaCarry is hosting its debut Alabama Firearms Freedom Conference on Feb. 21 that will feature several speakers including Secretary of State John Merrill, former lawmaker Scott Beason and more.

"The purpose of this is to bring together the Second Amendment supporters in the state of Alabama and basically have a legislative kickoff to show our legislators we're serious about our right in the state of Alabama," BamaCarry President Eddie Fulmer of Northport said.

The conference will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Feb. 21 at the Pelham Civic Complex and Ice Arena. Admission is $20 per person and lunch is included.
