OK: Guy with Gun Defuses Situation if Drunk with Knife

OKMULGEE, Oklahoma -

Police have arrested a man they said pulled a knife inside an Okmulgee restaurant filled with customers.Employees at Debi's Filling Station off U.S. Highway 75 said one of those customers stepped in to help.

“We never felt threatened at all because it wasn't toward us, but in this situation the good guy had the gun and helped diffuse the situation,” waitress Dayna Rucker said.

“He drew his gun and said, ‘He's got a knife. Put your knife away. I have a gun.,'” Rucker said. “He had a concealed-carry license and he was very clear about what he had."
