VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -
Investigators with the Valdosta Police Department
were trying to figure out Friday morning exactly what happened at the
Park Chase apartment complex overnight when 30 year-old Quinton King, 33
year-old Cecila Simmons, and 20 year-old Travis Roberts were shot.
"According
to witnesses and people on the scene, Mr. Roberts pulled out a weapon
and started firing," said Valdosta Police Department Lt. Aaron Kirk. "At
that point, one of the victims he shot pulled out a weapon and started
firing back and actually struck Mr. Roberts."

WALB contacted UF-Shands Hospital for an updated condition around 1:30 p.m. Friday, but was told that there was no patient by the name of Quinton King at the hospital at the time.
Simmons was treated and released from SGMC. Travis was listed in critical condition at SGMC as of 9:30 a.m. Friday.
