OR: Man shoots Cougar suspected of Killing Chickens
GLIDE, Ore. (AP) — A Southern Oregon man says he thought raccoons had been killing his backyard chickens for a couple of nights, so he took a 20-gauge shotgun with him when he heard a racket Sunday night.
It turns out his dogs were barking at a cougar, which he wounded with a shot from 25 feet.
