VA: Shooting found Justified, Firearms Charges Dropped
After deliberating for about 10 hours over two days, the jury on Thursday acquitted Monte Robinson of first-degree murder. The Circuit Court judge then dismissed several remaining firearm-related counts against Robinson.

Two months before the shooting death, Beale fired at Robinson, wounding him in the right forearm and hand, Bales said.
Witnesses testified Beale had a gun the night he was killed, and Robinson knew Beale was "more than willing to pull the trigger," he said.
