AZ: Man Shoots one of two pit bulls that attacked his dog

A man said he was out walking his mother's 5-year-old pug when two Pit Bull mixes came from across the street, near Cottonwood Lane and Devon Loop, and tried to attack his dog. The man was carrying a gun and fired two rounds. The bullets hit one of the dogs in the head and shoulder dropping it to the street. The other dog, reportedly, returned to it's owners property.
