AR: Alma Seeks to Reform Firearms Ordinance

Alma city officials are looking to revise or replace what is being considered an overly strict firearm ordinance.

During an Alma Planning Commission meeting Tuesday, commission members discussed presenting the Alma City Council with a plan to change the current firearm ordinance.

According to several members of the commission, the 2009 ordinance is excessive in both its restrictiveness and penalties.
