KY: Homeowner Shoots Home Invader who Threatened Him

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT)- Sheriff's deputies say that a homeowner shot a man who was caught breaking in to a home.

Laurel County Sheriff John Root says deputies were dispatched to a home off Robinson Creek Road Friday morning around 10 after a complaint that a homeowner caught a burglar inside.

According to deputies, the homeowner then fired a shotgun at the intruder, shooting him in his upper torso.
