Government Fees Discourage Concealed Carry- summary by Rob Morse
Thirty states issue concealed carry permits to the law abiding citizens who ask for them. Two third of us live in those “shall-issue” states where we were issued 14 million permits to carry a concealed firearm in public. We paid to exercise that “right.” The state mandated fees and training requirements vary widely from state to state. States that imposed more hours of training also imposed high fees. Ordinary citizens responded to those costs in predictable ways. Millions of us were discouraged from legal concealed carry due to the costs and restrictions.

Until we can get enough idiots educated to understand the enforcement of and the meaning of the words in the second amendment we will continue to have colored maps trying to explain the incompetence of our legislative bodies in government. I personally think the framers were very smart. back them men were honest up front , spoke their mind and when they said something they meant what they said. they respected other people to the point they considered the other person intelligent oenough to follow along in a conversation and understand what was being said, common knowledge of the day. when they wrote the second amendment they carefully selected the enforceable words. they wrote with the mutual understanding that only the words that were written would be enforceable. not very many could read or write at the time the constitution was written. so they kept it simple. The second amendment is simple 26 word to make it clear that we could all carry guns if we wanted to. the value and use of guns was well known along with the dangers and responsibilities. the framers would be shocked at the mess made of out constitution. the war of independence was over taxes, licenses and permits. to many people today want to destroy history rather than learn from it. note the second amendment does not say we have the right to keep and bear arms as long as we have our state approved license or permit. the framers would have laughed you out of constitution hall for considering the need for a permit. I think we really need to get back to the basics of education. two ninth amendment rights every one should know. Any person has the right to not like something someone else is doing and the right not to give a *hit if they are unhappy because you are doing it.
If you have to pay for a permit in order to exercise a right, then it's not a right.
All gun control laws infringe on the 2nd Amendment.
“No state shall convert a liberty into a license and charge therefore”
(Murdock v. Pennsylvania, 319 U.S. 105, 1943).
-
“If the State converts a right (liberty) into a privilege, the citizen can ignore the license and fee and engage in the right (liberty) with impunity”
(Shuttlesworth v. City of Birmingham, Alabama, 373 U.S. 262, 1963).
Paul weber: this is why I continue to say the second amendment is National reciprocity. every one is required to enforce the second amendment as written. I have heard several times that a judge has said you can not use the constitution for a defense. If you cant use the constitution then the judge has no authority to hear the case the judicial authority comes from the constitution. if the constitution does not exist neither does the judges authority. the constitution was written to protect the people from the government. It created the government and the rules it must act by, what it can do and what it can't do. The ninth amendment covers all of the right that were not enumerated in the bill of rights. using the constitution to defend your self is one of those un enumerated rights. a judge that violates is oath of office. Looses all power and authority of that office immediately upon violating his oath of office. American jurisprudence volume 16 second edition section 152. so called activist judges are judges that have refused to resign and are required to be impeached and removed. the court system has been turned to crap by activist judges.
