Followup GA: Domestic Defense Gunfight, Ex Killed, 2 Victims Wounded

Early Monday morning gunfire at a home in the Cedar Creek subdivision in east Athens resulted in one death and two people wounded, according to Athens-Clarke County police.

The shootings were the result of a domestic dispute as the suspect, who died at the scene, and a woman at the house had a prior relationship, according to police spokesman Geoffrey Gilland.
