WA:Domestic Defense, Wanda Lee Roberts released in Shooting of Granddaughter

YAKIMA, Wash. -- An hour before she was to go before a judge to argue for a lower bail, Wanda Lee Roberts was declared a free woman.


Wanda Roberts, 87, was accused of fatally shooting her 34-year-old granddaughter early Monday morning at Roberts’ North Third Street apartment, and was booked into the Yakima County jail on suspicion of second-degree murder.
