If you have to buy a permit/license, pass a background check, or get someone else's permission in order to exercise a right then it's not a right.

The reason I carry is because those that are not responsible to have guns will get them one way or another, permits, licensing or registration be damned, Government control of who is fit to buy is the reason the framers gave us the second amendment, to guard against that kind of government. We had the right before the constitution existed. We were sovereigns before the constitution the constitution made us sovereign citizens. Without a government we are totally free. the constitution was created to control the power of government not for government to control the people. Government is necessary to manage the chaos so many sovereigns might create and to bring us together if attacked. regulations can be waved and laws are made to be enforced as written. Unconstitutional laws are void. When the framers wrote the constitution they said we have given you a constitution it is up to you to keep it by electing fit people to represent you. Police need to remember, the defense of I was just following orders is the defense that failed big time at the Nuremberg trials.
