Sanilac County deputies pursued him into Lapeer County, then into Tuscola County. Martin eventually rammed a patrol vehicle and drove into a field where he got stuck, according to police.

Martin then fled on foot and entered a Frankenmuth Road home where he tried to steal a car, but was confronted by the homeowner with a gun.
