Followup WA: Domestic Defense, No Charges, Self Defense Killing of Father

A Yakima County Superior Court judge Monday granted the release of a young man accused of killing his father in Outlook last week because prosecutors say they believe he acted in self-defense.


Benjamin D. Rodriguez, 19, was accused of shooting and killing his father, 43-year-old Jose Rodriguez, at their Outlook home Wednesday. He was held on suspicion of first-degree murder.
