Followup SC: Efren N. Ramirez was Shot While Heavily Intoxicated

Late Monday afternoon, Anderson County Deputy Coroner Don McCown identified the man killed as Efren N. Ramirez, 39, of Honduras. McCown said Ramirez had been living in Upstate South Carolina for a while doing construction work. McCown said Ramirez lived across the street from the home where he was shot, and that he appeared to have been heavily intoxicated when he died. It's not yet clear how, or if, that played a role in what happened.
