GA: Man Attempt to Break into Hotel Room, is Shot, Killed

An hour later at about 3:20 a.m., the man downstairs walked up to room 226 and began banging on the door and threatening the occupant, authorities said.

The guest inside the room was armed with a handgun and when the man tried to force his way inside the room, he was shot several times, Frazier said.
