Browning told police that he met Wayman through the Tinder dating app and that she invited him over to the Bell Court address.
“Shortly after he arrived, two other individuals knocked at the door,” Valenti said on Tuesday.
“Ms. Wayman let them in and they proceeded to assault Mr. Browning. Mr. Browning produced a handgun and fired at both individuals as he left the residence and contacted 911 to advise them of what had happened.”
Valenti said Wayman told detectives that she had invited two people into her residence in an attempt to extort money from Browning.
