Around 3 a.m., officers responded to a shooting at 10000 Atlantic Blvd. A
man in his 40s was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening
injuries, suffering a gunshot to the face.
The
person suffering a gunshot wound is potentially the suspect, JSO said of
its investigation. The suspect and a group of three people were in a
dispute and the suspect he discharged a shotgun at the group.
The agency said one person in the group fired at the suspect "in an act of self-defense." The victims are being cooperative, police said.
