A 22-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene with gunshot wounds to his chest, back area, and one to his head. His identity is being withheld pending notification of his family.
The two other men were taken to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center, and one — a 23-year-old who was not identified — was flown to Las Vegas for emergency treatment. He remains in critical condition with gunshot wounds to his chest, police said.
Quijada had a gunshot wound to the stomach. He was arrested after he was treated at the medical center. He faces charges of second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder with a deadly weapon, disorderly conduct with a deadly weapon and unlawful discharge of a firearm within city limits. Quijada was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
During an altercation between family members, Quijada reportedly shot several rounds at the two men, according to detectives.
