Yesterday, in an Atlanta middle school outfitted with metal detectors, a 14-year-old boy was shot in the neck by a would-be mass killer.
The would-be killer was interrupted by armed security.
Nobody was killed.
Proving once again that metal detectors and gun-free school zone signs offer nothing more than make-believe protection from evil individuals intent upon victimizing innocents.
