SHEFFIELD, Alabama -- Police are investigating a possible homicide that happened during a home-invasion in Sheffield late Friday, according to The Times' news partner, WHNT News 19.
Sheffield Police Chief Greg Ray tells WHNT that a 27-year-old man died after being shot at a home in the 200 block of Sterling Boulevard just before 10 p.m. Witnesses at the home told police at least one person came into the home and tried to rob the people inside.
