SAN MATEO (CBS SF) — A San Mateo resident shot two intruders in a gun
battle that occurred during a home invasion late Wednesday night,
killing one, police said Thursday.
The resident was also shot, but survived and was recovering from his
wound, San Mateo police Deputy Chief Mike Callagy said at a news
conference at police headquarters Thursday morning.
