Police say that an Augusta teen who had been sought for questioning in a shooting Saturday acted in self-defense.
After a “complete and thorough investigation,” Richmond County sheriff’s
investigators determined that Anthony Hampton, 17, shot Willie Casey
Jr., 47, who later died, Sgt. Shane McDaniel said.
