LAKE MARY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
A
couple of accused burglars got more than they bargained for Wednesday
morning, when Lake Mary police said they tried to break into a man's
house on Webster Street.
Lake Mary police told FOX 35 that the
burglars weren't counting on the homeowner being inside when they
smashed his back doors. Instead of money and jewelry, the first thing
they saw was the barrel of his 9mm.

That's why he hopes to send a message to anyone else looking to target his house.
"I'm just sorry if I missed."
