KARACHI, Sept 24: A suspected robber was shot dead by a robbery
victim in self-defence in Orangi Town on Tuesday morning, police said.
They said that two armed men snatched a motorcycle and other
valuables from Mohammed Jamil, owner of an oil shop, in Orangi Town’s
Sector-10 when he was returning home after dropping his children to
school. They were fleeing on the snatched bike when the robbery victim
pulled out his licensed pistol and fired at them. One of the armed men
suffered bullet wounds and fell from the bike. However, his accomplice
fled on the snatched motorbike, said the Mominabad police.
