SAN JUAN - The victim of a home invasion said his shotgun and his dogs kept him and his family from getting hurt.

"I was going to go outside and make (the dogs) be quiet because my
baby was sleeping. I was on my feet approaching when I heard a loud
banging, crashing noise. I knew there was no mistaking ... someone
busted through the door," the man said.
"That's when I heard the voice, 'this is the police, this is the police,'" the homeowner said.
