GRAND RAPIDS, MI – A man with a concealed-weapons permit shot and killed
an alleged robber in an incident outside of a New York Fried Chicken
restaurant that ultimately left two men dead, investigators said

Authorities interviewed a man at the scene who said he was being
robbed at gunpoint when he pulled out a gun and shot the robbery
suspect. That robbery suspect was killed. The man who shot the robbery
suspect has not been charged with any crime.
Shots were then fired by someone else that killed Floyd, police said.
