Municipalities cannot restrict the ownership, transfer or possession of
firearms, according to Delaware Code. The council recently discovered
the law after Bethany resident Carol Brigleb voiced concerns more than a
year ago that Bethany Cycle and Fitness was selling and transferring
firearms.
