There are many things we do not know about this case, perhaps the most important of those is who had legal control over the location where the shooting occured? It does not appear that the shooter was threatened. I doubt that this shooting will be ruled justified.
Willingham told deputies he and a woman were at the residence when
the gunshot victim came in and started "pestering" the female, according
to the release.
The victim refused to leave despite being told to
leave, Willingham said. He reportedly told the victim "he better leave
or he would shoot him." The victim reportedly again refused to leave and
Willingham shot him one time.
