Both victims were tied up and left on the living room floor and the
suspect exited the home. Authorities say the daughter was able to free
herself and retrieve a handgun. As the mother attempted to lock the
door, the suspect fired a shot into the home and reentered. The daughter
and suspect fired numerous times at one another inside the residence,
authorities say.
