PA: Assaulted Homeowner Shoots Intruder

Police said Jimmy W. Spencer, 53, of New Freeport was agitated when he muscled his way into the Morford Road, Springhill, home of David M. Riley, 53, around 1:50 p.m.

Once inside, Mr. Spencer began to threaten and assault Mr. Riley, police said. Mr. Riley then shot Mr. Spencer once.
