CA: Armed Homeowner Confronts, Shoots Car Burglar

A resident told police that he saw a male inside his vehicle, which was parked in the driveway. The resident, armed with a shotgun, had a confrontation with the suspect and fired one round, Correa said.

The male fled and was found by officers nearby suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he died.
